A small success for Al Pal.

A few years ago I purchased my very own laptop computer. It has been extremely helpful and I owe it much of my blogging, facebooking, emailing, and lesson plan writing success. Along with my computer purchase, the nice people at Best Buy also offered to sell me a printer for a decently cheap price. I accepted, like the good consumer I am. And for the last few years, that very same printer has been...um...sitting on the floor of my bedroom! I know, I know. How hard can it be to set up a printer? Well, my dad and I were having some trouble with it the other night around midnight, and decided to give up. This morning I had a burst of energy and inspiration, and ta-dah! I got my printer to install on my computer, and I printed my very first documents today! I would take a picture and post it here, but I thought that was kind of lame...and I am too lazy to go get my camera from my room...

In other news...my dad came to visit California last weekend, and it was awesome to see him! He attended his 50th high school class reunion, and had a blast. Then we got to hang out with our California cousins, eating good food, and enjoying good company (reminiscing about the good old days on the farm in South Dakota, anyone?) Monday night my dad and I tackled my slightly unorganized files....and now it is organization city around here! :) Thanks, dad!

This was a big week....in TV land. :) Please tell me you watched: Glee, Modern Family, and The Office. To be honest, I am quite unimpressed once again at The Office...but loved the other two. I can't wait to re-watch them on my computer sometime this weekend...

But for real...this was a big week for me in other ways. Lots of realizations, lots of thinking about life, lots of really convicting conversations, lots of new goals and things to think about...next weekend I am taking the California Basic Skills test so that I can be a substitute teacher...and tomorrow I have an interview with an employment company...to be a receptionist...my friend in small group gave me the connection...so we'll see what happens. :)

In other news...my nephew Alberto turned 1 month old this week! Wowza! Is he ever cute??? Of course, all my nieces and nephews are just adorable, so here are a few pictures of Sasha (4), Alexis (2), Charlie (2), and the newest little guy, Alberto (1 month)!

Besos y abrazos!
