Less than 24.

I went to bed last night thinking, "I wonder how I will sell all my stuff that doesn't fit in my car in order to road trip to Michigan to live with this fun family?" I wasn't sure how I would make that work, really. Needless to say, I went to sleep a little restless.

At 9:30am or so, I got a text from a wonderful lady that I started babysitting for not too long ago - she said she'd be praying for me all day today. Wow. It is amazing to see God's people surround me in prayer!

Around 9:45am, my phone rang, and I knew right away it was going to be THE phone call. The one that would tell me whether or not I got the job. I answered it, and this was the conversation (ish):

Them: "Hi Allison, do you have a minute?"
Me: "Yes I do."
Them: "Well, I wanted to call and congratulate you, and welcome you to our school. You were chosen for the job."
Me: "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

Them: "So, can you just tell me that you officially accept the position?"
Me: "Oh yeah, sorry. Yes. I accept the position. See you tomorrow at 8am!"

Ha! Just when I was mentally packing my car up to move back to the midwest (love it there, don't get me wrong!), I get this job offer!

I am basically on cloud nine...or cloud 1000000...hard to say. I am overflowing with thankfulness, and just so pumped!

What do I do when I am on cloud nine? I celebrate by baking. :) I decided to make funfetti cupcakes to bring to youth group tonight. Figured the kiddos would want to celebrate with me too!

Here are two pictures...one is the lame one I took while trying to be "artsy" in my kitchen...and the other is from Google images. I will let you figure out which one is which. :)

I cannot thank you all enough for your thoughts, prayers, encouragement, and so much more during this season. May I become less, so that HE may become greater, and more glorified in this new chapter of my life.

To God be the glory, both now and forever more. Let's celebrate. :)
