Friday: finished my teaching week with a bang, had coffee and dinner with some of the Fabarez fam. They are fun! Went to bed at 9:30pm. That's what I call a good day.
Saturday: after 10 hrs of sleep I went for a walk/jog/run. Had breakfast with Aaron at one of our fav restaurants. Drank coffee out in the sunshine. Saw Alice in Wonderland (not my fav). Ate a delicious dinner made by Aaron. Watched Up in the Air (pretty good!).
Sunday: went for a walk/jog/run. Church. Lunch with Aaron. DISNEYLAND fun with Aaron. Not much sleep...
Monday: actually a really great day! I am usually super stressed and anxious on Mondays. I was only a little stressed and anxious today. My friend Jon led staff devotions this morning and talked about idols - and how anything - even hobbies or habits in our lives - can become idols. He challenged us to think about "Who is your god?" and then to ask our students that same question. Jon said, "It is, after all, the most important question to answer, isn't it?" Good stuff. Dinner with Aaron (this guy can cook, people! We make a good team in the kitchen. "Clean as you go," that is what my sister Heidi taught me a few years ago. I like that motto. And when you've got two hungry people, it helps to work fast!) Watched some episodes of Glee because, well, it makes me happy. :)
Now I am going to bed WAY past my bedtime....buenas noches!
