Oh my goodness. I almost forgot to blog about this, and I know I already posted a super long one tonight, but I just have to. In an effort to record God's faithfulness. I have been in lots 'o pain these past few months, as you know, and the last time I went to physical therapy, the doctor said I needed to get this thing called a "Stim" which is basically a little box that has 4 wires coming out of it which I stick to my skin where I have the most pain (back and hips). And then I turn it on, and it sends little electric shocks, essentially, to those spots, making it less painful. I don't really know exactly how it all works, but something about getting all the tissue/joints moved around so they don't swell as badly.
God's faithfulness to me in the past month/week:
1) The book "The Gift of Pain" sent to me just in time.
2) Stim (medical device my physical therapist said I needed) sitting in my room when I get home from Jackson. And I only have to send in $13 for it. No phone calls. No huge bill.
3) Microphone and speakers set up in my classroom TODAY so that I can teach with a microphone and not lose my voice/damage my vocal chords/end my teaching career early.
All I can say is...God is faithful.
