Annoyed....but....okay.

I am thoroughly annoyed. I just typed up a SUPURB blog post. And promptly got signed out of blogger. Dumb. I don't know if I have the stamina to repeat all the goodness that was my previous post! But...I'm a fighter...so here we go:

I like to read this blog sometimes. And lots of other blogs (not as much as Megan Z...but...)and I realize that it makes me compare myself to others a lot. Not cool. Fun reading, but it's important to remember that people can use the DELETE button when they write a post.

The happs in my life as of today:

1) I went to a dueling piano bar for a friend's bday this past weekend. Quite entertaining...let's just say I thought I was going to get pulled on stage because I was sitting RIGHT IN FRONT, but was thankful to remain in my seat the whole night. However, one of the piano players gave me a hug when I left. Um...okay.

2) On Sunday our church had their annual beach baptism. It was spectacular. I went to the beach early with some small group friends, and we had a fabulous time. The weather was perf, and it was encouraging to hear the testimonies of those getting baptized. I love my church. :)

3) I don't have a job yet...but have gotten to do a LOT of things because I am unemployed. I helped at my church's after school homework help program today, and was so thankful to be there. I helped a kid who recently moved here from Mexico with his homework. I get to talk to my parents at odd times during the day. I get to read blogs. I get to help other people - random babysitting, cleaning, etc.

4) My dad is coming this weekend! He has a class reunion here, so we get to hang out for a few days! Woo hoo! Financial and job-searching help? I think so. :)

5) This Saturday I get to see one of my all-time favorite bands...RASCAL FLATTS! I have some friends who have seen these guys multiple times, but I don't think I have ever seen them (my mom says she thinks I saw them one time, but I can't really remember..) 10 of us are heading to the OUTDOOR concert on Saturday evening, and I can't wait. I love their music. For reals. Take a listen.
