June events. :)

Blogging takes more time than I thought when I started this thing over a year ago. Yikes. Life has been busy, but so so good. Time with Joel was just awesome - incredible, really. He is an amazing brother and I was richly blessed by his visit. In short, we...went for some runs, ate good food, went to Oak Glen, played frisbee, ate apple crisp, took a nap in the grass, went to Laguna Beach, played more frisbee, ate more good food, jumped in the waves, went to Big Bear, kayaked, played even more frisbee, ate McDonalds ice cream, went to church, and then he left. It was amazing. Visitors are f.u.n.

Since then..I have been going to school for a few hours every day to work on grad school, as well as packing up stuff to move into my new place. Did I tell you I have a new place to live? I do. :) I'm outta here very soon...heading to the midwest for grad school, so I gotta pack and get all moved in (or at least have a place to sleep and a toothbrush available) before I leave. The bummer is that I am not feeling 100%, and found out today I have a throat infection...boo. So I am super exhausted...falling asleep while reading about the philosophy of education and such.


Anyhoo....Joel has really gotten me into the band Hillsong, and tonight I was listening to this song on the way home from playing cards at my friend Jon's house (who needs a roommate or two...so if you know anyone....) :) The lyrics are so good I decided to post them.
