Fun with Megan Zwier.

Yesterday I drove to the airport to pick up my friend, Megan. Neither of us were feeling too great, so we both just went home and decided not to hang.....but then I got a text from her that said, "How about a walk and cinnis tomorrow morning?" To those that don't abbreviate everything, "cinnis" are cinnamon rolls.

This morning I arrived at Megan's house for a walk, and this girl is crazy. She took me on (close to) a 5 mile walk around the neigb, then gave me pain medication when we got back because I was complaining about my aching body. "You should have told me!" she says. Oops. We just get carried away in convos that we just keep walking and walking....

We talked about our Christmas breaks and shared stories about our time with family. We had coffee and cinnis, then got to work on our apps for the big New Years party tonight. Actually, Megan made an app, but I made a dessert (figures, right?) We made a quick run to the store, stopped at the Dutch Bakery, and when I suggested stopping at Starbucks, she said, "I don't need it." Ha! Who actually needs to stop at Starbucks?? :)

Megan is one of the greatest friends ever. She helped me as I attempted to make my dessert (first time with Special K bars...hope they turn out okay!), and we discussed possible outfits for the part-ay tonight. This girl is hilar, I am telling you. She has such a funny way of saying things, it's hard to capture in a blog post. Currently she is grading 5th grade science tests, and says things like "Do you people actually study?" and "I try to understand their reasoning and then I only take off one point. I am a GOOD teacher, aren't I?" The girl cracks me up. As we listen to Pandora on her comp, Megan sings harmonies and descants to all the songs she knows....seriously? Who does that? I guess you can only do that with really good friends.

So we're both still in our sweaty walking clothes, and are about to go pick up our friend Audrey (or Aud, as we call her) from the airport. Just wanted to blog about my awesome pal Megan. She has been a faithful pal through lots of good times and hard times in my life....and I just thought I'd post about her today. :)

That's it...gotta go. But first...Megan just said to me, "You need a DC (Diet Coke) or anything?" while singing harmony to the song on Pandora...totally clueless that I am writing this.

I guess you have to be here to experience all that is Megan Zwier. But take my word for it. She is hilar, and I love her. :)
