I don't know how I could be so forgetful....but last weekend I went to Las Vegas with my good friend Nicole. We left on Friday afternoon and she ran a half-marathon on Sunday morning. It was a great weekend! We stayed at the Excalibur because it was cheap and close to the start line for the race on Sunday. We ate dinner at the Paris and at the Venetian - delicious food all around. One night we went to the Belagio to see their Christmas display - it was beautiful and just what I needed to help me get in the Christmas spirit. Nicole ran an awesome race - she met her goal even after having the flu just a few days before! Woo hoo! I ran the last 2 or 3 miles with her, and I am sure I annoyed her by all my "Come on, Nicole, you're almost there. Let's go - finish strong, you got this," like my coaches used to say to me in the middle of races. So here are some pictures to commemmorate my time with Nicole in Vegas...fun fun fun!
