Christmas fun.

Last night a few friends and I thought it would be fun to bake some Christmas cookies, and then each go home with a tupperware (or 4) filled with different kinds of Christmas goodies. Who doesn't love a stocked freezer with peanut butter balls, haystacks, and frosted snowmen, right? Liz took some pictures of me while I was enjoyed the process - and she let me wear this awesome Christmas tree hat too. Cute, right? I think the captions would say, "You know you have a chocolate addiction when..." :)

I posted a long time ago...so let me try and catch people up on the happenings in my life. Thanksgiving was really great - I enjoyed not having to teach for a bit, and the change of pace is always a good thing. Aaron and I visited relatives in Garden Grove and then hung out at his parent's house. One of my favorite parts was jumping on the trampoline at Adam and Amber's house with their 8 year old son Brayden. He is super cute and fun. I taught him the "add-on" game that I used to play at Jenny's house back in the day. I think I won. :)

Since Thanksgiving, the Christmas festivities have begun! In my Spanish classes, we are practicing 4 Christmas carols in Spanish so we can go caroling around the school next week. Their favorite is, of course, "Feliz Navidad" and they always fight over who gets to shake the maracas (I only have 4). Another fun tradition is a gift exchange with my siblings - I'm not going to post who I got this year, but I am excited to share Christmas with the whole family in MN this year - Aaron is coming too! A few of my friends and I are also doing a secret Santa exchange - it is always a fun surprise to see a red or green gift bag in my box at school....so far I've gotten candy (figures), running socks, post-it notes, and teal nail polish. Yay!

Anyone watch Glee or Modern Family this week? I thought it was hilarious how the storyline of Glee matched that of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas - it actually had some really heart-warming parts too. Modern Family always makes me laugh - I know it might not be the most appropriate show I could ever watch, but it sure makes me smile.

Anyhoo....here are some pictures for you to laugh at...and you can look forward to more Allison updates soon! (the adorable couple with kids are Adam and Amber and their first two kids Brayden and Ali)
