Out shopping on Halloween - our high school's homecoming queen was there taking pictures! This is Sarah - one of my fav students of all time. :)
Weekend at Nicole's house for her b-day...she coaches all these cool runners in Bakersfield, they gave her a cookie cake. YUM!
*In my last post I said I'd try to add some pictures of my life from this past fall....so here they are!*
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving....which means that I have the whole week off from teaching! I know, I know, I am completely spoiled because I get the whole week off - but I do not take it for granted, trust me. Today I slept in, went for a nice walk with some new music on my ipod (Glee music is rocking my world!), and leisurely laid around the house. :) Now I'm at Starbucks utilizing the Internet services...and soon I am off to our Thanksgiving Eve service at church (which I am excited for....the choir is performing...and they are so fun to listen to!)
Unfortunately I don't get to hang with my parents or sibs during this Thanksgiving holiday (I went to Nica last year!) However, I do get to hang with some fun Cali relatives here this year. Tomorrow afternoon Aaron and I will head to Adam and Amber's house, and then later spend time with Aaron's fam. Christmas will come soon enough when I get to see the rest of the fam.
Did anyone watch Glee last night? Because, seriously, it was one of the best. Finn's rendition of The Way You Are was amazing! I know I sound kind of like a teenager, but seriously, the cast of Glee has got some talent - and I love it, love it! Of course I still do not have TV service at my apartment, so I have the privilege of watching Glee with friends at their houses. :) I am also still loving Modern Family - those characters crack me up! They are so awkward at times, and I just love the dynamics of it all. Every week I try and pick my favorite character from MF, but can't choose between Phil and Cameron. They are both so incredibly hilarious. :)In other news....I am pumped about a sermon series that Ada Bible Church is doing right now. It has been going on all fall, but I just got into it recently (like, yesterday). It's called The People of the Way, and it is really great so far. Listen to it. You won't regret it. Time to end this post...just want to give a shout out to: Joel, Lora, Heidi, and Nate in Nicaragua, Zack, Michelle, and Charlie in Boston, Mom, Dad, Sasha, and Alexis in Michigan, and to Aaron who is faithfully doing a sound check at church right now.
