Funny now...but probably not tomorrow.

Hanging with friends tonight - impromtu DQ meet up with some fun peeps. Some of my most funny friends are Jon Schaap and Aaron Stys. (Can I write last names on here? Well, I just did) Because I am kind of dorky (and awesome!) I wrote down quotes I thought were funny on a DQ napkin. Jon says, "Why don't you write them in your phone on the notes page?" Um....I like napkins? OK - literally, it is after 11pm, and I got pretty sunburned yesterday at the beach...so I might be a little disillusioned....and these things are really not that funny, but I am laughing out loud just re-reading the quotes. I think you had to be there. So, Jon, Aaron, Lisa, and Megan....enjoy: In no particular order: "I want model numbers." - J. Schaap (re: running shoes...or real models...) "Don't underestimate your stomach acid." - J. Schaap (re: eating raw cookie dough) "Running shoes are so expensive now. It's wrong. It's morally wrong." -J. Schaap "You could crawl to work and still make it faster." - A. Stys (re: my upcoming move) "If stuff doesn't match, I can't exist." - J. Schaap "Approach it this way, 'Am I your calling?'" - J. Schaap "Why do you acknowledge his presence?" - A. Stys A short conversation: MM: "Eww. It tastes like dirt." AK: "I still been drinkin' it." Not funny, right? Nope, probably not. But I took the time to write these random quotes on napkins at DQ tonight.......with the purpose of writing them on my blog...especially because I know that one of the four people that read my blog is my pal Aaron Stys...so he's got to be excited that he's quoted in here, right? If you want to read a blog that is actually insightful and funny - go read this. In other news....I went to another wedding. This time I was not a bridesmaid. I was just a guest - and it was F.U.N. Got a little soaked by the rain in the outdoor wedding, but it was worth it. Congrats, Jessica and Walter....hope you are enjoying Hawaii! :) Aaaaaand I am moving. Yep. The 25 mile commute is too much, so I am moving closer to work. Like 24 miles closer. Mmmmhm. I'll be a mile from school. So, I could crawl to school - as suggested by Aaron above. Probably won't, but I could. :) Aaaaaand I went to the beach yesterday for the first time all summer with our church youth group. SUPER fun kiddos. Laughed a whole lot. Thought about getting a tatoo (not AT the beach, but one of my friends asked me if I had ever thought of it, and I decided to think about it. We'll see what happens....!) Got a little sunburned. Jumped in/got rocked by the ocean waves. I decided I like the lake better. I guess it's my MN roots or something....but salt in my eyes, mouth, and hair? No thanks. Still fun times. Especially at Wendy's on the way home. We could quote YouTube videos all day! THANK you to Kim Mesman and Joy Lewis for letting us borrow your cars...you gals rock. Well, you guessed it. I have a coffee date tomorrow morning...so I guess I should get some sleep. Peace out, friends.
