Yep. You got it. I'm sitting in my living room, with all my Word documents open, ready for me to type away and get these papers rollin'....but then I somehow find myself blogging. It's so much more fun than writing papers!
This weekend was awesome - after the Saturday post when I was feeling apathetic about papers. :) Aaron and I had a ton of fun getting frozen yogurt, then I went for a *long* run (5 songs on the ipod! That's long for me these days!) then had a yummy dinner of fried rice and potstickers. You guys ever try those things? Trader Joe's is one my fav stores, and they have the yummiest meals, so I decided to try these. Delic. Then Aaron and I headed to Huntington Beach - Aaron wanted to "sip Starbucks", and what better place to do that than at the beach on a summer evening? We got our 'bucks, walked along the shoreline just like in a romantic movie...then sat on this little grassy area and talked forever about life. It was pretty much the best date ever.
Sunday was a special day because Aaron and I actually got to go to church TOGETHER and even sit by each other! Usually the guy is up in the sound booth making everyone sound good, so this was a treat. We, of course, stopped for coffee on the way to church, then, well, went to church. (how many commas was that in one sentence?)
It's moving time for lots of people around here these days....and yesterday was the big day for my roommate Rose and I. I'm not totally out of my old house yet but yesterday we got pretty close. Aaron and Rose's boyfriend Walter are champs, and worked hard for hours moving our desks, drawers, bookshelves, boxes, etc. The electricity in the new place is not turned on yet...so every time we get there we have to manually open the garage to get stuff in. It was quite a sight when, at about 9pm, we pull up to our new place with the last load of the day, and we have to shine our headlights into the house and walk in front of the guys with a flashlight so they can see where to step. THANKS, guys!!! I'll make sure to take some pictures of the place when we have light in there and I'll post them for *all* my readers. :)
Alrighty...I suppose I have wasted enough time this morning on random phone calls, facebook, checking blogs, and posting my own scattered thoughts about life. Time to get paper-writing...
